Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 40-bed Med/Surg unit (5 West) in the main hospital building
* Schedule requires 36 hours per week with rotating weekends
* Patient ratio of 1:7 per nurse per shift
* Unit staffing includes 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 7 nurses, 4 PCTs, and 1 UC per shift
* Perform procedures including EKGs, blood glucose monitoring, and venipuncture
* Use Meditech for clinical documentation
* Work with standard medical equipment for a Med/Surg unit
* Contract labor is first to float to like units per floating policy
* Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
* Required certification: BLS
* Current Georgia RN license required
* Required dress code: Royal blue scrub top and bottom

This 354-bed acute care facility is located near the Georgia-South Carolina border and is home to the largest burn center in the country, seeing more than 3,000 patients annually. The facility offers a comprehensive range of medical services including a Human Motion Institute, Digestive Disease Center, Pelvic Health Institute, Stroke Center, and an emergency room recognized for the shortest wait times in the area.
