Opportunity:
1YR/1ST TIMERS-OUTPATIENT CLINIC RN-64685
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekends, no on-call, and no holiday shifts required
* Position is with the Colorectal Surgery Clinic
* Each RN is teamed with a Physician to provide all clinical care to their patients
* Room patients and obtain vital signs
* Perform telephone triage and manage direct patient calls
* Process medication refills and complete FMLA documentation
* Provide authorization support for imaging and schedule colonoscopies and office visits
* Perform High Level Disinfection (HLD)
* Assist with minor office procedures and exams
* Clean and stock exam rooms
* Provide patient education and surgery teaching
* Attend to MyChart messages and make post-operative calls
* Provide guidance to MA staff
* Follow physician to satellite clinic locations as needed
* Transportation provided to travel between sites - does not float mid-shift
* May be required to float primarily between First Hill Campus and Edmonds, with occasional coverage at other locations (Renton, Redmond, Issaquah, Ballard)
* Minimum 1 year of ambulatory nursing care or primary care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Position has the opportunity to become temp-to-hire
* Required certification: BLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
