Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* May be required to work major holidays
* Required to pick up one additional shift per schedule period (every 4 weeks)
* May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
* Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
* Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required
* Nevada RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS
* Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
* Perform patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency environment
* Coordinate care between other medical professionals as needed

Facility:

This facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, serving a 500-mile radius and treating over 80,000 ER and trauma patients per year. The facility operates an 800 inpatient bed hospital with 80 ER beds and two emergency rooms, functioning at a volume and pace comparable to a Level I trauma center. The facility is home to the region's only children's hospital and offers a full range of leading-edge services including robotic surgery, neurosciences, and comprehensive heart and cancer services, supported by state-of-the-art technologies including Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, PET/CT scanner, Biplane Angiography, and 3T MRI.
