RN - IMC

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Full-time position
* Care for general IMC patients with a wide variety of conditions including neurology, respiratory, cardiac, and GI
* Manage patients on tri 3 drips and BiPAP
* Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations
* Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
* Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience in related nursing specialty required
* EPIC experience highly preferred and recommended
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), NIH
* RN license in state of TX or compact license required
