Medical Surgical / LPN

Job Details:

* Night shift position
* 48 hours per week preferred; 36 hours per week may be approved
* IV Certification is a firm requirement
* Patient ratio of 1:7 using a team nursing model with support from PCC, RN, and other staff
* On-call required as needed
* Weekend coverage required as needed; weekend block schedule may be considered
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical required
* First-time travelers not accepted unless candidate has 3 or more years of recent experience
* Travel experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Large hospital experience required
* Must live at least 100 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
* Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
* EPIC experience preferred
* If assignment includes end-of-year holidays, traveler must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays if all three fall within the assignment, or at least 1 of 2 holidays if only two fall within the assignment
* All requested time off must be included at time of submission and will not be considered after an offer has been presented

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center providing high-acuity care to patients requiring immediate and specialized medical attention. The facility operates as a large hospital system with multiple campuses and offers a broad range of services. Staff may be floated between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius on an as-needed basis.
