Job Details:

* Emergency Room Registered Nurse role with variable shifts
* Primarily mid shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM with occasional night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and identify outcomes for patients or patient situations
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
* TNCC preferred
* S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification required
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
