Opportunity:

RN - Clinical Oncology

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Possibility of four 9-hour shifts with a set day off when applicable
* Start times may be variable but scheduling team works to maintain consistency
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirement
* Work in a 13-exam room outpatient oncology clinic
* See 10-13 patients per day as NP/PA or support MDs seeing 18-20 patients per day
* Common diagnoses include solid tumors, benign heme, breast, prostate, GI, and lung cancers
* Job duties include triage, outgoing phone calls, phone assessments, patient education, care coordination, and clinical assessments
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of outpatient oncology experience
* Radiation oncology experience is a plus; all oncology experience will be considered
* Triage experience preferred
* Must be able to start IVs
* First-time travelers are welcome to apply
* Required certifications: BLS; ONC preferred
* Charting system: EPIC
* May float to up to 4 outpatient oncology sites in Treasure Valley including Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Fruitland
* Nurse supervisor on-site daily; travelers will never be alone with other RNs always present
* Scrub color is flexible as long as attire is clean and professional
* Orientation period ranges from 3 to 10 days depending on clinic need
