Opportunity:

RN - Float Pool

Job Details:

* Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available
* Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours
* Candidates must be willing to float
* 3 weekends required in a 6-week schedule
* No on-call requirement
* Nurse to patient ratio of 6:1
* EMR system used: Epic
* Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs
* BLS certification via AHA required
* RN license in state of employment or compact required
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
* Provides routine and complex nursing care while practicing independently
* Utilizes the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
* Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitors for side effects and effectiveness
* Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
* Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed
