Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
* Day shift position working 5x8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine required
* Minimum of 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT N, BLS, CNMT, NMTCB
* Scrub color: Hunter Green
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Documentation system: EPIC
* Float to additional facility location required per census needs
* Will only float to units for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented
* Patient age groups served: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Patient ratio: 1:1 during day shifts
* Orientation: 40 hours
* Required skills include: 3 Phase, Adult, Drawing Venous Blood, DTPA Aerosol, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, Flow/Function, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Liver Imaging, Nuclear Cardiology, Perfusion, Pharmacological Stress, Renal/Perfusion, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, Uptake Scan, Ventilation/Perfusion, Whole Body, and With Lasix
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Interdisciplinary support available includes: Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
