Job Details:

* Day shift position with option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* First time travelers welcome
* 3 years of experience preferred, minimum 2 years required
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 4-6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications accepted)
* AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
* Required skills include: antepartum care, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, recovering C-section patients, sterile vaginal exams, obstetrical patient triage, external fetal heart monitoring, insulin drips, maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC), and isolation precautions/PPE
* Facility handles 100-200 births per month with 15 rooms and 15 beds
* Patients include neonates and adults
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

This facility operates a well-equipped Labor & Delivery unit with 15 beds and rooms, handling a high volume of 100-200 births per month. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team and offers a collaborative environment with access to respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, ensuring high-quality care for both mothers and neonates.
