Opportunity:

RN - L&D Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift position in Labor & Delivery
* Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP - must be in hand at time of submission
* AWHONN Advanced and FHM certifications preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* Must be located outside a 50-mile local radius
* Float to postpartum unit required as needed
* Care for patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
* High-risk Labor & Delivery unit including OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery
* Care for laboring patients with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater
* Perform and assist with C-sections, External Cephalic Versions, and vaginal deliveries
* Skills include magnesium sulfate therapy, pitocin administration, epidural anesthesia support, fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum hemorrhage management

This facility operates a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit that includes OB Triage, Postpartum, and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery. The unit provides comprehensive obstetric care for a wide range of patient needs, from routine deliveries to complex high-risk cases.
