Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
* Work every 5th weekend as required
* On-call required - short call (4 hours at the end of a shift) once per week
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Operate primarily with Affera PFA systems and Biosense Webster RFA equipment
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit, CET
* Epic/Excellian charting system experience preferred
* Scrubs provided by the unit
* Perform and assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD insertions, laser lead extractions, and Watchman device procedures
* Operate specialized equipment including intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems, therapeutic ablation systems, electrosurgical units, emergency equipment (TPMs, AEDs), and GE CardioLab
* Perform hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
* Maintain sterile field and demonstrate understanding of sterile technique and asepsis
* Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately
* Serve as room circulator and scrub technician for EP studies
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Community hospital experience required
* May be required to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma certification. The facility operates with 672 total staffed beds and maintains a dedicated electrophysiology unit with 4 procedure rooms and a daily census of 20 patients.
