Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday
* Will work every 5th weekend
* On-call required - short call (4 hours at the end of a shift) once per week
* Primarily operate Affera PFA systems and Biosense Webster RFA equipment
* Required to use intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems, therapeutic ablation systems, electrosurgical units, emergency equipment (TPMs, AEDs), and GE CardioLab
* Chart using Excellian/Epic system
* Scrub EP studies including invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures
* Perform device implants including ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD insertions, laser lead extractions, and watchman devices
* Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and maintain sterile field as room circulator
* Perform EKG lead placement and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Strong communication skills required with a solid understanding of sterile technique, asepsis, and cardiac anatomy
* 1-2 years of experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Epic/Excellian charting experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R*, CCI RCES*, CCI RCIS*, Fluoro Permit*, CET
* Scrub color provided by unit

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma status. The facility operates 672 staffed beds and maintains a dedicated electrophysiology unit with 4 procedure rooms and a daily census of 20 patients. The organization provides comprehensive cardiac care services and supports a wide range of invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
