Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2044.20

Opportunity:

Inpatient Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* 40-hour work week with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* 3 weekend days per 6-week schedule
* Evaluate and treat patients in the ED, ortho/spine unit, rehab unit, tele unit, and med-surg unit
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include general medical, orthopedic (THA, TKA, TSA, hip fractures), neurological (CVA, Parkinson's), spine surgeries, lower extremity amputations, and CABG surgeries
* Average of 7 patient visits per day
* Daily therapy census of 50 patients
* Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Kansas PT license required
* BLS certification required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Self-scheduling
* Travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope as needed
* 50-mile local radius enforced; local candidates not accepted

This facility is a full-service inpatient hospital offering comprehensive therapy services across multiple units including emergency, orthopedic, spine, rehabilitation, telemetry, and medical-surgical departments. The facility supports an interdisciplinary care model with access to physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and transportation services to ensure well-rounded patient care.
