Job Details:
* 5x8 shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Contract length options of 13 to 26 weeks
* First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 1 year of experience required
* Guaranteed hours: facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Block schedule accommodated at manager's discretion
* Required certifications: BLS
* California PT state license required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Navy blue

* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Required skills and experience include: Acute Care, Home Exercise Programs, Lifting and Transfer, Patient Family Education, ER, Geriatrics, ICU, Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, AROM/AAROM/PROM, Assistive Devices, Body Mechanics, Pain Assessment, Skin Integrity, Strength Testing, Vital Signs, Discharge, Evaluation, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Short Term Goals, Call Lights, Crutches, Gait Belt, Hospital Bed, Standard Walker, Supplemental O2, COPD, CHF, CABG, Myocardial Infarction, Gait Training, Hip Fractures/Injuries, Knee Injuries/Tendinopathy, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, and Post Stroke Rehabilitation
Facility:
This is a small, community-based acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds offering a full range of services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a collaborative, interdisciplinary care environment. Physical therapists can expect to treat a variety of diagnoses including total hip and knee replacements, CABG, general surgery, fractures, and general medical cases.
