Opportunity:

RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

* Block scheduling type with weekends required as needed
* No floating required
* No on-call required
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated; RTO must be 10 days or less
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; 1.5 years may be considered
* Active California RN license required at time of submission; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and Wound Care Certification (WCC or WOCN preferred); course completions not accepted, must be certified
* EPIC experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
* Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include HAPI, wound consults, ostomy, and wound VAC
* Utilize special equipment including WoundVision and Wound VAC
* Serve in a consultant/educator role within the unit
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, lift teams, interpretation services, and unit secretary

The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, lift teams, interpretation services, and unit secretaries. The wound care department serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and provides specialized care including wound consultation, ostomy management, and advanced wound therapy using cutting-edge equipment.
