RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds
* Patient ratios of 4-6:1
* Night shift staffing consists of 1 CNC/charge nurse and 2-3 RNs
* Minimum 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, and NRP
* OB experience, med-surg experience, and GYN experience preferred
* Perform post-operative gynecological and urogynecology surgeries, and care for ectopic pregnancies
* Manage high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization including PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, and preterm labor
* Perform fetal monitoring including NSTs and provide GYN oncology post-op care
* Care for women's health med-surg, post-partum NICU moms, and readmitted post-partum complications
* Operate Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring equipment
* Document using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
* Must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to stay busy preferred

The unit provides comprehensive care ranging from routine deliveries to high-risk pregnancies and complex gynecological procedures.
