Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

CONTRACT - PHYSICAL THERAPY (774) - 13 WEEKS - 8:00A-5:00P

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Weekend coverage required
* No on-call requirements
* Cover inpatient rehabilitation and, when volume is down, acute and outpatient settings
* Patient ratios: 5-6 patient care hours in rehab, 12-15 patients in acute, and 6-7 patients in outpatient
* Perform PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments as needed for inpatient rehab
* Conduct team conferences, family training, and home assessments
* EMR system: Meditech
* Texas State License in Physical Therapy required
* Inpatient rehab experience required
* BLS certification required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* Bilingual preferred due to heavy Hispanic patient population
* Dress code: Navy scrubs; no Crocs, visible tattoos; facial hair must comply with CDC guidelines for N95 wearers

Facility:

This rehabilitation hospital provides comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services as well as acute and outpatient care. The facility utilizes the Meditech EMR system and follows AIDET and ICARES patient care standards. The unit currently has two full-time physical therapists on staff and is seeking contractors to support patient care needs across rehabilitation and acute settings.
