Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
* Rotating schedule between days and nights based on unit needs - schedule cycles may vary between day and night shifts
* Self-scheduling available, however days off are only guaranteed as listed in contract
* Float to any Medical Surgical unit across 3 locations in Fargo as needed
* Nurse to patient ratio: Days 1:4-5 and Nights 1:5-6
* 32-bed unit serving adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of needs including trauma, orthopedic trauma, and hip fracture care
* Trauma Level 1 facility
* Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1, 200+ beds) required
* Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical experience required
* Travel experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Experience working in a busy Level 1 trauma center required
* Active ND or Compact RN License required
* Active BLS certification (AHA) required
* BSN not required
* Charting system: EPIC (AcuDose and other inpatient equipment utilized)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Must badge in and out at facility

Facility:

This acute care facility is a large Level 1 trauma center with 200+ beds, providing comprehensive inpatient medical and surgical services. The facility is certified by The Joint Commission for its Hip Fracture Program and serves adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients across multiple locations. The organization utilizes EPIC for electronic documentation and maintains high standards of care across its Medical Surgical units.
