Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 13-week assignment
* Weekends, call, and holidays required
* Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
* Must be certified as a Surgical Tech
* Travel experience required
* Orthopedic experience required
* Scrubbing experience required
* DaVinci experience required
* May be asked to precept new staff
* Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible
* Knowledge in cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting required
* BLS certification required
* Function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient
* Perform routine and delegated duties according to department standards and policies
* Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise and efficient reaction to all situations
* Assist with creating and maintaining a sterile surgical environment and ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
* Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
* 100-mile radius rule applies
