Opportunity:
MA - Outpatient Clinic
Job Details:
* 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* Weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with approximately 1 weekend per month required to assist at Urgent Care location as needed
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Must float to all clinics as needed
* 2 years of outpatient clinic experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required (national certifications not accepted)
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
* Education: High School Diploma or GED required
* Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture required
* Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, updating patient records, administering vaccinations, performing blood draws, and providing patient education
* Additional skills include administering medications, performing EKG/ECGs, urine analysis, wound care, suture removal, telephone triage, and after visit summaries
* Patients served include adults and geriatric populations with primary care diagnoses
* 2 supervisor or higher references from within the past 1 year of employment required at time of submission
