Open Position: RN - Lactation Consultant

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2405.64

Opportunity:

RN - Postpartum

Job Details:

* 8 or 12 hour shifts available for 32 hours per week
* Variable days and evening shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Self-scheduling type
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Minimum 1 year of postpartum experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, IBCLC
* Required skills: Baby friendly protocols, breast engorgement, breastfeeding instructions, breast milk collection and storage, cesarean section, discharge teaching to parents, infant identification, isolation precautions/PPE, multiple births, postpartum, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy induced hypertension, use of electric/manual breast pump, vaginal delivery
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults
* Unit consists of 24 rooms and 21 beds with a daily census of 23
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
