Opportunity:

RN - Orthopedics & Pediatrics (Outpatient Clinic)

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Outpatient clinic position, not inpatient
* Minimum 2 years of orthopedics and pediatric experience required
* Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, and pediatrics
* Daily census of 25 patients with 9 rooms available
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Skills required include applying splints, fractures/dislocation management, height/weight assessment, orthopedics, pain assessment, patient health questionnaire/history/allergies, pediatrics, and sprains/strains
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, and unit secretary
* Patient diagnoses include orthopaedics, physical medicine, and rehabilitation
* Required certifications: AHA BLS
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Epic charting system experience required
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* Pre-approved time off: one instance allowed; no requests within the first two weeks of start
