Open Position: RN - Oncology

Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric Oncology

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Perform case management and patient care coordination
* Assist providers in ordering and obtaining lab results and other clinical results
* Triage patient calls and manage phones, emails, and other communications
* Address patient care needs as they arise
* Serve patients across multiple age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and adults
* Utilize interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
* Proficiency in Epic charting system required
* Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients receiving chemotherapy
* Apply neutropenic precautions and infection prevention protocols
* Support bone marrow transplant patients and symptom management
* 1 year of pediatric oncology experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS
* APHON certification preferred
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
