Opportunity:
Occupational Health RN
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Open to both local and travel candidates
* At least 1 year of occupational health or relevant nursing experience required
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Perform pre-employment health screens in collaboration with Human Resources and core leaders
* Provide and manage surveillance services including tuberculosis, hazardous drugs, lead, and hearing conservation programs
* Administer vaccinations in alignment with facility policy
* Manage caregiver exposures to blood, body fluids, or infectious disease following current protocols
* Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of employee health records using current standard operating procedures
* Provide clinical expertise and guidance regarding caregivers with infectious diseases to reduce risk of communicable disease transmission
* Participate in committees and huddles to share employee health data and collaborate on risk reduction measures
* Review occupational incident data and identify trends to provide prevention and mitigation recommendations
* Travel to various ministry sites to provide on-site services as directed
* Maintain supply inventory and ensure functionality of equipment
* Working knowledge of regulatory requirements including Joint Commission, OSHA, and CDC required
* Must demonstrate strong time management, priority setting, and accuracy under pressure
* New in-house EHR system will need to be learned as EPIC is no longer used
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
