Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work in a 19-bed Emergency Department with 6 hall beds and 6 sub-waiting room beds
* Maintain a 1:5 patient ratio
* Work alongside ED Techs (secretaries), AEMTs, and Paramedics
* Operate GE Monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000, and Level 1 infuser
* Document using Meditech system
* Weekend and holiday rotation required
* Floating to other areas is not typically required
* Perform procedures including moderate sedation, central line placement, chest tube placement, IV insertion, lab draws, POC testing, EKGs, and respiratory treatments
* Engage in patient experience initiatives including whiteboard usage, keeping patients informed, and ensuring patients and families feel cared for
* Minimum 2-3 years of ED experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, CPI (within 30 days), and TNCC
* Dark blue scrubs required
