Opportunity:

TRAVEL RN PCU

Job Details:

* 13-week travel assignment
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Every other weekend required, or equivalent based on staffing needs
* 2 years of PCU experience required
* Must have active compact license at time of submission
* Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience required
* Pre-post cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience preferred
* Prior HCA experience preferred
* Work with GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps
* EMR system: Expanse
* 20-bed unit staffed with 5 RNs and 2 LNAs, flexing with volume
* Floating may be required to Med Surg, ICU for border patients, and Emergency Department for ED holds
* Professional dress code required, no required scrub color
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIAH
* Ideal candidate is self-directed, confident, positive under difficult circumstances, and a strong communicator and team player

This healthcare facility operates a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit located on the second floor, providing specialized intermediate care for patients requiring close monitoring. The unit offers comprehensive cardiac monitoring capabilities and supports a collaborative team environment with a structured staffing model. The facility utilizes modern electronic medical records and equipment to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple care settings including Med Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department.
