RRT NICU
Job Details:
* Float position between internal departments - must be flexible
* No on-call required
* Every other weekend required per CBA
* Block schedules not required
* Patient ratios determined per hospital acuity
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Level 3 NICU and Level 2 Adult ICU experience required - NICU III or IV level experience is a hard stop requirement
* All staff, including agency, are considered VAR (variable) shift for the unit
* Manager will make every effort to keep agency staff on a consistent shift (days or nights) for the duration of the 13-week contract, with exact assignment typically confirmed one to two weeks in advance
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT
* Neuro Trauma ICU experience required
* Highly preferred experience with Bunnell Jet Ventilation in NICU
* Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, ARDS, BiPAP, Bronchoscopy, Bubble CPAP, CPAP, Direct Intubation (Neonatal), Drawing Arterial Blood Gases, ET Tube management, Extubation, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), High Frequency Jet Ventilator, High Frequency Oscillator, Intubation Assist, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oscillating Ventilator, Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Pulmonary Hygiene, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy Care/Management, Umbilical Blood Gases, and Weaning from Mechanical Ventilation
* Patients include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

This large healthcare facility operates a 337-bed hospital with a daily census of approximately 300 patients. The facility supports a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, unit secretaries, and more. The organization maintains high standards of patient care across multiple specialty units and provides robust support resources for clinical staff.
