RN MS/TELE STROKE PMC 5 TOWER 2021-0500
Job Details:
* 3x12 night shifts on various days of the week
* Weekend availability required per unit needs, with 7 weekend shifts per contract
* No on-call required
* 2 years of acute care RN experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of RN acute care experience
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, CPR; Colorado or Compact RN license required
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 days and 1:6 nights; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs - candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience in flexible staffing ratio environments
* Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities
* Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including stroke, COVID, and med/surge conditions
* Required skills include MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Scrub color: Navy
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract

This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center offering comprehensive inpatient care across a range of specialties. The unit features 30 staffed beds and a daily census of approximately 34 patients across 24 rooms. The facility provides robust interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced care environment.
