Athletic Trainer - High School

Job Details:

* Weekday schedule starts around 3:00 PM
* Weekend schedule varies based on game times
* Serve as an integral member of the school's healthcare and athletic team
* Work closely with student-athletes, coaches, parents/guardians, physicians, and school administration
* Evaluate injuries and illnesses on a daily basis
* Develop and monitor rehabilitation plans for student-athletes
* Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
* Maintain appropriate medical documentation
* Assist with safe return-to-participation decisions
* Provide coverage across multiple sports, practices, competitions, and school-sponsored athletic activities
* Primarily work with adolescent patient population
* Up to 40 patient visits per day
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, BOC
* Must hold active Idaho athletic trainer license through the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL)
* 50-mile radius rule applies, no local candidates

This facility is a high school athletic program that requires dedicated full-time athletic training coverage to support the health and safety of its student-athlete population. The program spans multiple sports and athletic activities, ensuring student-athletes have access to immediate injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and medical coordination. The organization maintains a formal agreement requiring certified athletic trainer coverage at each high school campus.
