Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours scheduled per week
* Located in the Emergency Department on the 1st floor of the main building
* Unit consists of 19 beds plus a 4-bed psychiatric pod
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Day and night shift unit secretaries available, with Monday through Friday day and night technicians scheduled
* May be floated to the psychiatric pod or to another system emergency department location
* Utilize equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillator
* Document using Meditech system
* Strong sepsis and stroke skillsets required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and active RN license
* Required dress code: Navy scrubs

This facility is a chest pain and stroke certified emergency department offering specialized care in a well-established healthcare system. The unit is supported by experienced staff, many of whom have been with the organization for 5 to 20 or more years, and features telepsychiatry services along with excellent provider and nurse relations. The emergency department benefits from modern equipment and technology while maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.
