Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 36 hours per week with weekend rotation
* Unit dress code requires navy blue scrubs
* Must have EPIC electronic health record experience
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from AHA-approved vendor), ACLS, PALS (AHA or ARC)
* PALS preferred but optional for first contract; must be obtained if extending to additional contracts
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members

It is comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, an extensive physical rehabilitation program, an outpatient surgery and diagnostic center, and an advanced wound care center.
