Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work every third weekend
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratios of 4-5:1 on a 15-bed unit
* Care for all types of med surg patients including telemetry monitoring (remote tele tech unit)
* Administer heparin drips
* Required to float across all campuses
* Navy blue solid scrubs required
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Minimum 24 months of experience in Med Surg or Med Surg Tele required
* Must have completed at least 1 travel contract within the previous 18 months - no first-time travelers accepted
* Experience with heparin required
* Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred
* Recent charge or preceptor experience required
* Skills checklist specific to Med Surg or Med Surg Tele required
* Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC)
