Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Block scheduling available with prior approval
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
* Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC, NRP
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* No parking cost
* Provide emergency care to patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Care provided in a rural setting with diverse emergent care needs
* Higher acuity patients are transferred to appropriate facilities
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

This facility is a 13-bed emergency department serving a rural community with diverse emergent care needs. The department provides care to patients of all age groups and is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and interpretation services. Higher acuity patients are transferred to ensure appropriate levels of care are met.
