Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts scheduled from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need
* Floating to like units may be required based on skill set and census needs
* Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
* Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
* Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required
* Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
* Previous charge nurse experience preferred
* Patient ratio experience of 1:6
* Daily census of 15-20 patients with 30 beds on unit
* Patients include adult and geriatric age groups
* Skills required include blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, telemetry, starting and maintaining IVs, feeding tube care and management, and colostomy/ileostomy management
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* Medication system used is Omnicell
