Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need
* Float to similar units required if needed
* Patient ratios: 6 patients on days, 7 patients on nights and weekends
* Daily census of 30 patients with 30 beds and 30 rooms
* Patients include adults and geriatric age groups
* At least 1 year of MS/Tele experience required
* At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Will review first-time travelers based on experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Active RN Tennessee license required
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Special procedures include post heart cath, bedside dialysis cath, thoracentesis, and incision & drainage
* Required skills include blood product administration, central line care and management, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, cardiac drip management without titration, pre and post hemodialysis management, wound care and wound vac, PICC line management, PCA, TR Band, and peripheral line care and management
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
