Pharmacist Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift pharmacist position with a 7 on / 7 off schedule
* Work at both Women's and Westside hospital locations
* Weekend coverage required
* 1 year of pharmacy experience required
* First-time travelers welcome
* Charting system experience required; Epic system used
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, IV Certification, PharmD, RPh
* New Mexico Pharmacy license required (pending license accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
* Must be proficient with Pyxis and Carousel systems
* Required skills include: antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, compounding, geriatric dosing, high-alert medications, hyper alimentation, IV piggyback, IV push medications, mixers for TPN, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

This healthcare organization operates multiple hospital locations, providing comprehensive inpatient and acute care services across a wide range of patient populations. The pharmacy department supports a 120-bed facility with a daily census of approximately 80 patients, serving neonates through geriatric patients. The organization offers robust interdisciplinary support and maintains a modern pharmacy environment equipped with advanced systems to support high-quality patient care.
