Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
* 36 or 48 hours per week options available
* Contract options of 13 or 26 weeks available
* Weekend shifts supported by rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends supported by primary and backup call
* Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum 2 years of Medical/Telemetry experience required
* Neurology experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills: Complex wound care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of 15 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* May be required to float to other units and campuses based on census needs
* Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information

This long-term acute care facility specializes in caring for adult and geriatric patients requiring medical telemetry monitoring and complex nursing care. The facility maintains a daily census of 15 patients and provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary support system including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary services. The organization is committed to high-quality patient outcomes and maintains consistent patient ratios across all shifts.
