Opportunity:

CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Block schedule Tuesday through Friday, 4x10-hour shifts
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Unit accepts first-time travelers
* Must be proficient with CT Perfusion scanning for stroke and trauma patients
* Must be willing to transport patients
* High volume of general CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, and CT Cardiac performed
* Must be comfortable working in a high-paced environment
* Daily census of approximately 168 cases
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Equipment includes CT scanners: Siemens Somatom AS and Canon Aquilon One, as well as 3 Siemens and 1 Philips scanner
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CMRT*, Texas State License
* Key skills required: CT abdomen with and without contrast, brain perfusion, chest with and without contrast, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, preparation and administration of contrast media, and emergency department experience
* 50-mile radius rule applies - no local candidates

Facility:

This facility operates a high-volume imaging department equipped with four CT scanners, including three Siemens units and one Philips unit. The department handles a diverse range of imaging studies including general CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, and CT Cardiac, serving a broad patient population across adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The fast-paced environment is supported by interdisciplinary teams and modern imaging technology to deliver high-quality diagnostic care.
