Opportunity:
Radiology Didactic Trainer
Job Details:
* 30-40 hours per week with full-time hours available based on candidate preference
* Onsite position at Mission Center Building
* Class schedule: Monday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM, Tuesday 6:30?9:30 PM, Wednesday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM, Thursday 6:30?9:30 PM
* Hours include both class instruction time and preparation time
* Responsible for didactic instruction within an 18-month radiography program
* Design and deliver course content aligned with JRCERT Standards and ARRT content specifications
* Evaluate student learning using objective, equitable, and documented criteria
* Contribute to curriculum development, outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement efforts
* Advise and support students, identifying and addressing academic difficulty early
* Analyze course outcomes data and translate findings into instructional improvements
* Proficiency with standard office software, learning management systems, and educational technology platforms required
* Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field required (or equivalent experience/training)
* Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography R(R) required
* Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) / state radiologic technology license required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
Facility:
This facility is home to a Radiologic Technologist Training and Leadership Academy, an 18-month full-time entry-level radiography program developed in partnership with a local community college. The program integrates asynchronous online coursework, weekly online meetings, face-to-face laboratory sessions, and supervised clinical rotations across multiple affiliated imaging sites. The curriculum is designed to develop clinical competence, critical thinking, effective communication, and professionalism, grounded in the resources of one of the world's leading academic medical centers.
