Job Details:
* 4x10 night shift schedule with call and weekend coverage required as needed for the department
* Float required between two sites: Lawrence and Memorial Hospital (CT) and Westerly Hospital (RI)
* Must obtain both Connecticut and Rhode Island state licenses; may begin working once first license is issued while second is pending
* Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
* GE and Siemens equipment experience required; GE Optima CT660 scanner used in department
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RI and CT licenses
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Night patient ratios: 2; weekend patient ratios: 2
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen/chest/head/pelvis CT with and without contrast, emergency department, GE and Siemens equipment, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, preparation and administration of contrast media, vascular CTA, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs
* Special procedures include stroke center and trauma center support
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Free parking available on site
Facility:
This facility is a short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 total staffed beds, operating as part of a large regional health system. The facility features specialized stroke and trauma center capabilities and utilizes Epic for charting. Interdisciplinary support services are readily available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, ensuring comprehensive patient care across all age groups.
