Opportunity:
RN - Labor and Delivery
Job Details:
* Night shift position with 36-48 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups according to established standards of care and nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans with interventions to attain outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor), ACLS (from approved vendor), NRP (from approved vendor)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
