Opportunity:

RT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* No holiday requirements or call/standby requirements
* Float throughout the hospital as needed
* Provide respiratory care for ICU patients (15 beds), pediatric floor, and emergency department
* Handle ventilator management with ratios of 1:1-6 patients
* Draw arterial blood gases using EPOC system with required competency training
* Perform EKGs when needed
* Assist with intubations and bronchoscopy procedures
* Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal care (CPAP management)
* Assist with patient transports using Parapack equipment
* Work with various respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Draegers, Phillips CPAP/BiPAP, and Optiflow systems
* Report critical lab values in timely manner and maintain strict hand hygiene protocols
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT via NBRC, NRP (PALS is preferred)
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs with facility logo required
* 2-day orientation provided
* Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from facility location
