Job Details:

* Self-scheduling type
* 6 weekend shifts per six weeks required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of experience required at minimum
* Charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Level I and Level II Trauma experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Care for patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include stroke, STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, abdominal pain, trauma, shortness of breath, asthma, GU complaints, headaches, sore throat, and lacerations
* Special procedures include comprehensive stroke care, Level 2 trauma, and STEMI facility protocols
* Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, CVA management, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, stroke certified facility protocols, and triage
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal

This facility is a comprehensive stroke and Level 2 trauma center equipped to handle a wide range of critical and emergent patient needs. With 46 beds and 42 rooms, the unit maintains a daily census of 136 patients and benefits from robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The facility is committed to high-quality patient care across all age groups.
