RN - CVOR

Job Details:

* Extensive CVOR experience required with expertise in the RN Circulator role
* Perform and assist with procedures including CABG, Valve Replacement, VAD Insertions, TAVR, VATS, Lobectomy, Pacemaker/AICD Insertions, Septal Myectomy, Ross Procedure, EVH, IABP Insertions, Femoral Cannulation, and Circulatory Arrest
* All cases require 1 scrub and 1 circulator; pump cases also require a first assist/Heart Holder who can be an RN or CST
* Scrub and/or first assist experience preferred but not required
* On-call shifts will be assigned and rotated among staff
* May be required to float to other areas infrequently
* Unit operates 6 ORs within the Heart Tower building
* Unit staffing includes 1 Unit Secretary, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 PCA, and 1 Core Tech
* Documentation system: Cerner
* Equipment used: Stryker
* Hospital will provide scrubs; hospital surgical attire policy must be followed
* Required certifications: RN License, BLS
* No first-time travelers will be considered

This flagship hospital is licensed for 815 beds and serves as the region's referral center for the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III neonatal intensive care unit in the area.
