Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient

Job Details:

* Provide comprehensive therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
* Administer care under the direction of ordering physicians and under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director
* Demonstrate knowledge and skill in respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients
* Minimum 5 years of newborn/NICU experience required
* Minimum 3 years of experience in acute respiratory care medicine required, including general floor care, emergent medical and trauma stabilization/treatment, and newborn stabilization
* Experience in cardiopulmonary diagnostics and pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation preferred
* Assist in orientation and training of new clinical staff on respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
* Participate in community education and development
* Must have working knowledge of Pulmonary Function Studies and the administration of testing
* Graduate of an approved and accredited school for Respiratory Care required
* Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP
* Must be registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
* Must be licensed to practice respiratory care in the State of Colorado
* Membership in the American Academy of Respiratory Care (AARC) required
* Reliable personal transportation required as public transportation is not available in the area
