RN Cath Lab
Job Details:
* 4x10 shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Weekend coverage required every other weekend per unit needs
* On-call required with 30-minute response time expectation
* On-call schedule includes 3 weekend days and 6 weekdays per month (total of 9 days per month)
* Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with 3 or more years of experience in an academic Cath Lab
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA); CCI RCIS and CCRN preferred
* Charting experience in Epic required
* Scrub colors provided by facility
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 15 patients with 3 procedure rooms
* Self-scheduling unit
* Key skills include: cardiac catheterization (left and right heart), percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), TAVR, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, Watchman procedure, Rotablator atherectomy, valvuloplasty, ASD closures, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring, vascular closure systems, sheath removal and monitoring, blood product administration, IV vasopressors, and ventricular assist device insertion

The unit maintains a small but highly specialized team dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiac care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
