Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac/Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available
* Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* Required to float when needed
* Nurse to patient ratio is 5:1, with occasional 6:1
* Dress code: Ceil Blue scrubs
* Care for patients with MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med surg overflow
* Manage cardiac drips (nitrates not administered but drips are managed)
* Provide routine and complex nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
* RN license in state of employment or compact required
* Temp to perm possibility
