Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Scrub experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level II experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must be comfortable performing a wide range of surgical procedures including thoracic, general, orthopedic, urological, ENT, and trauma surgeries
* Scrub experience required across multiple specialties including thoracic, ENT, general, arthroscopic, orthopedic, urology, and trauma surgeries
* Proficient in use of electrosurgical units, cell saver, and laser and radiation safety protocols
* Must adhere to universal protocol, infection control, specimen handling, and wound management standards
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process prior to start

The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and supports a high-volume operating room environment with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedic, thoracic, urological, ENT, general, and trauma surgery. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires experienced surgical nursing professionals to support its dynamic and fast-paced environment.
