CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Weekend shift schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - Days
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Unit accepts first-time travelers
* Must be proficient with CT scanners including Siemens Somatom AS and Canon Aquilon One
* Must be willing to transport patients
* Must be proficient with perfusion scanning for stroke and trauma patients
* High volume of general CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, and CT Cardiac performed
* Must be comfortable working in a high-paced environment
* Experience with Epic charting system preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 168 cases
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CMRT, Texas State License
* 50-mile radius rule applies - no local candidates
* Required skills include: abdomen CT without and/or with contrast, brain perfusion, chest CT, vascular CTA, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, and emergency department experience

Facility:

This facility operates four CT scanners, including three Siemens units and one Philips unit, supporting a high volume of imaging procedures including general CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, and CT Cardiac studies. The department serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and maintains a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of emergency, trauma, and outpatient cases. The facility is a community hospital that provides comprehensive imaging services with interdisciplinary support across multiple patient care settings.
